This License Policy (“Policy”) defines the licensing framework under which buyers may use products purchased through Codoser.com (“Codoser,” “we,” “our,” “us”).
All products listed on the Platform are sold as digital goods and are governed by standardized Regular and Extended licenses. By purchasing, downloading, or using any product, you agree to abide by the terms of this License Policy in addition to the Terms of Use, Buyer Policy, Author Policy, and applicable intellectual property laws.
This Policy is intended to provide legal clarity and ensure fair, transparent licensing for both authors and buyers worldwide.
1. Scope of the Policy
1.1 This Policy applies to all digital products sold or distributed through Codoser.
1.2 It governs the license rights, restrictions, transfer conditions, termination, and enforcement mechanisms for both Regular and Extended licenses.
1.3 It applies globally and is designed to comply with international copyright laws, Indian IP law, and industry standards.
2. Nature of Licenses
2.1 When purchasing a product, buyers receive a license to use, not ownership of the product.
2.2 Intellectual property rights remain with the author (seller), and the buyer receives non-exclusive usage rights under the selected license type.
2.3 Licenses are legally binding agreements between the buyer, author, and platform.
3. License Types
3.1 Codoser offers two primary license types for digital products:
4. Regular License — Overview
4.1 A Regular License allows the buyer to use the product in one end project, for personal use or limited commercial applications that do not involve reselling or redistribution.
4.2 The product may be modified, customized, or integrated into the end project as long as it complies with the restrictions set forth herein.
4.3 This license is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and perpetual unless terminated.
5. Regular License — Permitted Uses
5.1 Buyers may use the product to create one end product for:
6. Regular License — Restrictions
6.1 Under a Regular License, buyers may not:
7. Extended License — Overview
7.1 An Extended License provides broader rights, suitable for commercial applications, SaaS integrations, or redistribution scenarios.
7.2 It is still non-exclusive and does not transfer ownership.
7.3 It allows for one major end product, but that end product may be redistributed or monetized depending on terms.
8. Extended License — Permitted Uses
8.1 Buyers with an Extended License may:
9. Extended License — Restrictions
9.1 Even under an Extended License, buyers may not:
10. Comparison: Regular vs Extended License
Feature Regular License Extended License
Number of End Products 1 1
Commercial Use Limited Broad (sale/distribution allowed)
Use in a Single end Product ✅ ✅
Use in a free end product (more than 1) ✅ ✅
End Product that's sold ❌ ✅
Resale ❌ Not allowed ✅ As part of the end product
Source File Redistribution ❌ Prohibited ❌ Prohibited
Multiple Clients ❌ Not allowed ❌ Must purchase multiple licenses
11. License Duration
11.1 Both Regular and Extended licenses are perpetual (no expiry) for the specific end product created, unless revoked for breach.
11.2 Authors cannot retroactively change license terms for products already sold & must Comply with codoser policies.
12. Non-Exclusive Nature
12.1 All licenses granted through Codoser are non-exclusive, meaning multiple buyers can license the same product.
12.2 Exclusive licensing (where available) would require a separate agreement outside this Policy.
13. One License per End Product Rule
13.1 Each license (Regular or Extended) applies to one end product only.
13.2 Multiple uses require purchasing additional licenses.
13.3 “End product” refers to a unique project or deliverable, not multiple instances of the same code in different client contexts.
14. Modifications and Derivative Works
14.1 Buyers may modify products to fit their project needs.
14.2 However, modified versions remain subject to the original license terms.
14.3 Derivative works cannot be redistributed as stand-alone items without appropriate Extended Licensing.
15. Multi-Use and Multi-Client Scenarios
15.1 Buyers wishing to use a product across multiple projects or clients must purchase separate licenses for each.
15.2 A single Extended License does not cover multiple unrelated end products.
15.3 Multi-use rights may require custom licensing agreements with the author.
16. Redistribution under Extended License
16.1 Extended License holders may distribute end products commercially, provided the original product cannot be extracted by end users.
16.2 Proper security and obfuscation measures should be used to prevent unauthorized reuse.
16.3 Distribution must comply with export laws and IP protections.
17. License Transfer
17.1 Licenses are non-transferable between buyers.
17.2 A buyer may not resell or transfer the license to another party without prior written consent from Codoser.
17.3 Client work scenario: if a buyer creates an end product for a client, the license applies to that client only, and the buyer may not reuse the same license elsewhere.
18. Teams and Multi-User Access
18.1 A single license may be used by a team within the same organization to create the end product.
18.2 Sharing licenses across separate entities, organizations, or unrelated teams is prohibited.
18.3 Enterprise multi-seat licensing may be arranged separately.
19. Educational and Non-Profit Use
19.1 Regular Licenses may be used for educational or non-profit projects under the same restrictions.
19.2 Extended Licenses are required if the project is commercialized, even by non-profits.
19.3 Student or institutional bulk licenses may be available on request.
20. Prohibited Uses (Both License Types)
20.1 Buyers may not, under any circumstances:
21. Intellectual Property Ownership
21.1 All IP rights in the original product remain with the author.
21.2 Licenses grant usage rights only — they do not transfer copyright, trademarks, or patents.
21.3 Buyers may not file IP claims based on licensed materials.
22. Third-Party Components
22.1 Some products may include third-party libraries or assets with their own license terms.
22.2 Buyers are responsible for reviewing and complying with such third-party licenses.
22.3 Authors must disclose third-party components in product listings.
23. Attribution Requirements
23.1 Some products may require attribution (credit) as part of their licensing.
23.2 Buyers must follow attribution instructions provided by authors.
23.3 Removing required attributions may result in license termination.
24. Updates and Maintenance
24.1 Licenses include access to product updates as provided by the author, subject to listing terms.
24.2 Licenses do not guarantee perpetual updates or support beyond stated conditions.
25. License Validation
25.1 Codoser may use digital license keys, tokens, or verification systems to ensure compliance.
25.2 Buyers must not tamper with or bypass validation mechanisms.
25.3 Violations may result in license revocation.
26. Termination of Licenses
26.1 Licenses may be terminated if the buyer violates this Policy, Terms of Use, or applicable laws.
26.2 Upon termination, all usage must cease, and files must be deleted.
26.3 Termination does not entitle the buyer to a refund unless legally required.
27. Refund and License Revocation
27.1 If a transaction is refunded, the associated license is automatically revoked.
27.2 Continued use after refund is considered infringement.
27.3 Authors and Codoser may take legal action for violations.
28. Legal Compliance
28.1 Buyers must comply with local and international laws when using licensed products.
28.2 This includes copyright, IP, export control, and consumer protection regulations.
29. License Enforcement
29.1 Codoser actively monitors for piracy, illegal redistribution, and license violations.
29.2 Violations may result in legal action, suspension, and blacklisting from future purchases.
30. Relationship Between Buyer, Author, and Codoser
30.1 The license forms a three-way agreement:

Here is Part 2 (Clauses 31–60) of the License Policy — Codoser.com, continuing in plain text, Envato-style, with deep legal detailing for global and Indian applicability:
31. Multiple License Purchases
31.1 Buyers who intend to use the same product in multiple end products must purchase a separate license for each use.
31.2 Purchasing multiple licenses does not grant “bulk redistribution rights” unless explicitly stated.
31.3 Each license remains independent and governed by the same terms.
32. SaaS and Application Integration
32.1 Extended Licenses may allow buyers to integrate products into Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications, provided:
33. Templates and Theme Resale
33.1 Extended Licenses may allow integration into templates or themes offered for resale, provided the original product cannot be extracted and reused independently.
33.2 Buyers must add significant value and customization; simple repackaging is not allowed.
33.3 Regular Licenses cannot be used for resale of templates under any circumstances.
34. Commercial Advertising and Monetized Media
34.1 Regular Licenses allow limited commercial use (e.g., on one website or app).
34.2 Extended Licenses allow broader monetized use, including integration into paid apps, advertisements, media campaigns, and broadcast.
34.3 Buyers must comply with advertising laws and attribution requirements where applicable.
35. Open Source Components
35.1 If a product incorporates open-source components, the buyer must follow those open-source license terms (e.g., MIT, GPL, Apache).
35.2 Authors must clearly disclose open-source usage, but buyers are responsible for legal compliance as well.
35.3 Mixing commercial and open-source components must follow both sets of rules without conflict.
36. Trademark and Branding Limitations
36.1 Purchasing a license does not grant the buyer any trademark rights over the product name, brand, or identity.
36.2 Buyers cannot use author trademarks or branding in ways that imply endorsement or ownership.
36.3 Buyers may not register trademarks based on licensed products.
37. Exclusive Licensing (Optional)
37.1 Exclusive licensing may be offered separately by authors under negotiated agreements.
37.2 Exclusive licenses typically grant sole commercial usage rights to the buyer for a defined period or purpose.
37.3 This is outside the default Regular/Extended framework and requires direct author negotiation, subject to Codoser’s approval.
38. Attribution-Free Licenses
38.1 Some products may offer attribution-free licensing for an additional fee or under Extended License terms.
38.2 Buyers must follow the attribution rules specified in the product listing.
38.3 Failure to provide required attribution where mandated constitutes a breach of license.
39. Bundle and Promotional Licensing
39.1 Products may be sold as part of bundles or promotional campaigns.
39.2 The license terms for each individual product remain the same (Regular or Extended), regardless of the promotional pricing.
39.3 Buying in a bundle does not automatically upgrade a Regular License to Extended.
40. License Validation and Audits
40.1 Codoser may perform license audits to ensure compliance.
40.2 Buyers may be required to provide proof of valid licenses for deployed products during audits.
40.3 Failure to cooperate with audits may lead to account suspension or legal action.
41. Transfer of End Product to Clients
41.1 Under both Regular and Extended Licenses, a buyer may transfer the completed end product to a single client, provided:
42. Prohibition of Shared Accounts for Licensing
42.1 Buyers must not use shared, group-buy, or pooled accounts to collectively purchase and distribute products.
42.2 Such behavior constitutes piracy and license fraud.
42.3 Violations may result in permanent bans and legal prosecution.
43. Legal Enforcement of License Terms
43.1 Codoser reserves the right to pursue civil and criminal remedies for license violations, including injunctions, damages, and termination.
43.2 International enforcement is carried out in cooperation with IP protection agencies and legal authorities.
44. License Termination Due to Fraud or Breach
44.1 Licenses will be immediately terminated in cases of:
45. Reinstatement of Licenses
45.1 In limited circumstances, revoked licenses may be reinstated after resolving violations or paying outstanding dues.
45.2 Reinstatement is not guaranteed and is at Codoser’s sole discretion.
46. International Use and Export Restrictions
46.1 Buyers must comply with export control laws when using licensed products internationally.
46.2 Products may not be exported, re-exported, or transferred to prohibited countries or entities.
46.3 Violations may result in termination and reporting to relevant authorities.
47. Warranty Disclaimer
47.1 Products are provided “as is” without express or implied warranties, except where legally required.
47.2 Authors are responsible for product functionality; Codoser facilitates licensing but does not guarantee fitness for a particular purpose.

48.2 We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from license use or misuse.
49. Indemnification
49.1 Buyers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Codoser, authors, and partners from claims arising out of:

50.2 Codoser acts as a licensing facilitator and enforcer, not the original IP owner.
50.3 Buyers must respect both platform-wide and author-specific terms disclosed in product listings.
51. Compliance with Local Laws
51.1 Buyers must ensure their use of licensed products complies with all applicable local laws and regulations, including IP, advertising, and consumer protection laws.
52. Severability
52.1 If any provision of this Policy is found unenforceable, the remaining clauses remain in effect.
52.2 Unenforceable clauses will be replaced with valid terms closest in meaning.
